There was a time when I believed I had lost everything that made me worthy.
I'm Monica, founder of Bóm Beauty, a wife, mother of three, and a cancer warrior.
For over a decade, my life was defined by treatments, uncertainty and loss. Cancer took my hair more than once. It changed my body, my confidence and, at times, my sense of identity. Then, after welcoming my youngest child, postpartum hair loss brought another season of grief.
Like so many women, I searched for products that promised results but left me disappointed. Many were filled with ingredients I wasn't comfortable putting on my body. Others simply didn't deliver.
So I stopped searching. Instead, I began creating.
Not with the intention of starting a business, but with the simple hope of creating something that met my own needs. I immersed myself in learning about botanicals, evidence-informed ingredients and scalp health, blending oils and refining formulations until they became the products I had been searching for all along.
What began as a deeply personal ritual slowly transformed into something much greater.
Bóm was never meant to be a business.
she was my lifeline.
In caring for my skin and hair, I was unknowingly learning to care for myself again. Those quiet moments became a reminder that healing isn't always found in extraordinary breakthroughs. Sometimes it begins with choosing yourself, one small ritual at a time.
As my hair grew back thicker and stronger than ever, something else began to grow too: hope.
That hope became Bóm.
Today, every product we create is born from lived experience, shaped by intention and crafted with uncompromising care. We believe clean beauty should never ask you to choose between safety and results. Each formulation combines thoughtfully selected botanicals with clean clinical ingredients to create products that are gentle, effective and worthy of your trust.
